Lakeland College is seeking an innovative and highly motivated individual to assume the key position of Manager, Student Life.  The Manager will provide leadership and strategic direction to the Student Life Department, which includes Residence Services and Athletics and Recreation.  The Manager will have the opportunity to work with students, faculty, staff, and other leaders within the organization to promote a quality living and learning environment; contribute to high levels of student achievement, satisfaction, and retention; foster a sense of community; maximize learning opportunities outside the traditional curriculum; and promote student engagement and leadership.

Reporting to the Vice-President Academic, the successful candidate will have significant professional experience in post-secondary education, and a record of progressive responsibility and leadership. Background knowledge sufficient for assuming supervision of the areas within the Student Life Department, including experience in Athletics and Recreation and/or in Residence Services, including facilities planning experience, are essential. Superior communication skills, a demonstrated ability to engage colleagues and students in collaborative planning, and a familiarity with student life trends and best practice are critical to success and are required for this position.

This is a Full-time Continuing Administration position commencing September  1,  2016  and  includes  a  comprehensive benefits package.

Lakeland College is seeking an innovative, highly motivated individual to assume the key position of Dean, Business and Continuing Education.  The Dean is responsible for providing high quality educational and training programs in our Business department, which consists of the following programs: business administration, accounting, real estate appraisal and assessment, marketing, and small business and entrepreneurship.  The Dean will also lead our Corporate and Continuing Education department, which offers for-profit training that aligns with the needs of our regional labour market, and includes such programs as petroleum management, well site supervisor, power engineering, gas process operator and production field operator.

The successful candidate will be committed to student success and academic excellence, and have knowledge of industry training requirements.   As well, the candidate will possess exceptional fiscal management and strong interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be an outstanding communicator with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. A proven track record in achieving performance and strategic targets is essential, as is the ability to work in a collaborative environment, leading a team of highly committed faculty and staff.  

Reporting to the Vice-President Academic, the successful candidate will have a strong background in business, a successful teaching background at the post-secondary level, and a minimum of five years of leadership experience in the post-secondary environment.

This  is  a  Full-time Continuing  Administration  position  commencing  August 15,  2016  and  includes  a  comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
