Agribusiness – Diploma – Agribusiness Student Showcase

Welcome to the Agribusiness galleries

Students live the learning at Lakeland College. We believe there is no substitute for experience with activities and field trips that get the students hands on.

We update our galleries regularly, so come back and check out the new activities. You can also check out the Lakeland College Ag Sciences Facebook page.

In the Spotlight

Band in the Sand is our annual concert organized by Agribusiness students held during our Fall Classic Rodeo, a fixture in the Canadian Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (CIRA) circuit.

With the assistance of Ag Sciences clubs, the students face the challenge of coordinating the transformation of the Equine Centre from rodeo to concert venue.

The 2014 Band in the Sand was a huge success. Headlined by Dallas Smith with Artificial Lift (led by Alumnus Trent Bloch-Hansen), Boomtown and our very own Jessica Reitmeier (current Agribusiness student), tickets almost sold out after 48 hours.

His “How Dare You Be Normal” presentation was supported by Farm Credit Canada’s GO AG campus speaker sponsorship program.
