B Pressure Prep Course

The objective of this course is to enable a student to safely perform the initial Grade B-Pressure Welder practical with passing results. This 9 session evening/weekend course is designed to provide the Journeyperson Welder with the training to prepare to challenge the Grade "B" Pressure Welder Examination (Alberta Boiler Safety Association, Initial B-Pressure practical test; fee is $242). During this period, we are also offering "B" Pressure GTAW enabling "B" Pressure qualified welders to become certified in Tig Pressure Carbon or Alloys. The training is held on the Vermilion Campus.

Withdrawal & Refund Policy:

  1. If you withdraw two full days before the course starts, you will receive a 100 percent refund
  2. If you withdraw after the first class and before the second class, you will receive a 50 percent refund
  3. There are no refunds after the second class
  4. You must notify Lakeland College if you withdraw. Not coming to a lessons doesn't qualify as a notice of withdrawal
