Welder Red Seal Preparation

This course will enhance the knowledge of welders working within the welding industry. It is designed to help certified Journeyperson Welders prepare to challenge the Inter-Provincial Construction Welder exam, also known as Red Seal Exam.

The course content is designed to follow the National Occupational Analysis, providing information in each of the following areas:

  1. Common Occupational Skills
  2. Fabrication and Preparation of Components for Welding 
  3. Cutting and Gouging
  4. Welding Processes
This course will run for five weekends.

The course will include classroom lecture, discussion time and written questions designed to review and attain information from the modules. Multiple choice review exams are provided for study purposes. The course is presented in a clear and simple format where students will enhance their knowledge and given the opportunity to succeed.

Withdrawal & Refund Policy:

  1. If you withdraw two full days before the course starts, you will receive a 100 percent refund.
  2. If you withdraw after the first class and before the second class, you will receive a 50 percent refund.
  3. There are no refunds after the second class.
  4. You must notify Lakeland College if you withdraw. Not coming to a lessons doesn't qualify as a notice of withdrawal.
