Lakeland College gives you the opportunity to earn while you learn. It's full time study offered on weekends.

You'll attend classes on specific weekends. See health care aide important dates for the exact dates and times. Classes are for 2 hours on Friday evenings and during the day on Saturdays and Sundays. That leaves the rest of the week free for your current job.

You'll learn in the classroom and our health care labs, then put your hands-on knowledge to work during the clinical practicum at the end of the program.

As a graduate you are qualified to work with people who need individual care such as in Alberta home care settings, in long-term care facilities, in assisted living facilities and in centres for persons with developmental disabilities.
