Early Learning & Child Care Testimonials
"Without the wisdom of each of my instructors at Lakeland I know I would not have felt confident in this position so quickly after leaving school. My experience is still limited; however you helped prepare me for this opportunity with various tasks and assignments (not all of which I was enthusiastic about I must admit!) I am now finding I gained knowledge that I now use on a daily basis. Through my time at Lakeland I was taught skills I didn’t even realize I had learned until now. Thank you for sharing your wisdom. Thank you for always readily providing encouragement, guidance and support. I have not once felt that I am in over my head, or unqualified as the program director."

|"I would like to say thanks to all of you for making my two years at Lakeland College a great experience. You all believed in me, and I have so much knowledge fro all of you that I will carry in my work. I remember my first year of ELCC. I look back now, and Wow I have improved. My grades are better, I have matured, and I am willing to take on challenges. I never wanted to work in a daycare setting, but I have had the opportunity and love it. Thank you for giving me options and guiding me in the right direction. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for great instructors like you!!"

| “I’m thankful for the experience I had at Lakeland College. The class sizes are small so you are able to create relationships with your classmates that will last a lifetime. People who have worked in the field and genuinely know the material teach the classes. It is my time at Lakeland College that got me where I am today. On practicums: "It’s training that not only develops skills - it develops confidence. It is what helped me to be the caregiver and the person that I am today, and I will always be grateful for that.”
