Child and Youth Care – Diploma – Online & blended

Lakeland College Child and Youth Care first year courses  and some second year required courses are now available online.

Whether you want to expand your skills, or start a new career, online learning gives you the opportunity to start the two-year diploma program from home, and even learn-while-you-earn. The flexibility is built-in to help you reach your goals.

Your courses are foundational to working with children and youth including family studies, the child and youth care profession and human development. All will support your ability to work with young people in a diverse range of settings and situations.

Note:
  • As program requirements, jobs & careers and further study are the same as the face-to-face program, you'll be redirected to human services website for that information when you click on those items in the left menu.
  • You must first apply to the program using applyalberta. Once you are accepted, you may register for individual courses.
