The best route is to start with RC200 Basic Energy Principles. It's a prerequisite to 3 other courses RC 205, RC 204 & RC 206.

However you can start the certificate program with 7 of the required courses that don't have prerequisites. Those courses are:
  • RC 200 Basic Energy Principles
  • RC 201 Energy & Environment
  • RC 202 Energy Audits and Conservation
  • RC 203 Climate Change
  • RC 207 Introduction to Biofuels
  • RC 208 Waste Reuse & Recycling
  • CO 255 Communications

You can't start the diploma program until you've finished the certificate program. Many of the courses are required in order to take the next level.
