The Interprovincial Standards Red Seal Program has been around since 1959 and was updated last in 2009. By writing the exam successfully, you will be able to work anywhere in Canada without writing any other exams.

At Lakeland, you write the provincial exam on the last Thursday you are here and the interprovincial exam on the Friday.

What is a Blue Seal? View More ∇

The Blue Seal program is common name for the Achievement in Business Competencies Program. This program was established by Alberta Apprenticeship to encourage journeymen who go on to study business.

Such business training enhances skills and opportunities, such as going into your own business.

To earn your Blue Seal you must complete a program of study approved by the provincial apprenticeship board or 150 hours or more of study in one subject area through an approved training institution. The are 16 subject areas ranging from accounting to operations management.

Lakeland is now offering 1st & 3rd period parts technology online. We are the only school that offers these periods online.

The online parts technology program has flexible start and end dates. Students choose when they want to start between specific dates.
