All Lakeland College students and staff now have access to Grammarly, an online automated grammar and revision tool for academic writing.

Grammarly is a web-based computer program application that works one-on-one with you to develop sentence-level writing skills, prevent plagiarism and reinforce proper revision habits.

You can check out the program for free, but, as a Lakeland student, you have access to more! Stop by the Commons on either campus for an access code. Then, go to www.grammarly.com/edu/students to set up your own account.

Once you have your own account, you can upload or cut and paste drafts of your writing assignments to receive immediate instructional feedback on over 150+ points of grammar and double check if all sources are properly cited.

Lakeland students create an account in eTutor and then submit a paper for review. You may ask for specific feedback, and will receive a tutor’s response within 24-48 hours. During peak periods, that time may be longer.

How you do that is explained on the eTutor website
