Part of being a community is the events we share.
At Lakeland many of our events are long-held traditions. That doesn't stop us from creating new events and experiences.

President's Gala

Annual gala to raise funds for student bursaries and scholarships.

Reunion Weekend

Career Fair

Held in October on the Friday of our annual open house.

Open House

Our 2-day open house includes both campuses. Tours, classes, applications and much more.

Info Sessions

Info Session season is in March. It's a great opportunity to learn more about your program and Lakeland.

Little Royal

Became part of the Lakeland Experience in the late 1920s and through the 1960s. It was revived in 1986 and now includes a number of activities including a rodeo.

Rustlers Golf Tournament

A major fundraiser for Rustler Athletics, a round of golf plus many extras.

Lacer the Racer Golf Tournament

A memorial tournament in honour of Lacey Longworth raising funds for a rowing scholarship.

Feast on the Farm

Celebrating Open Farm Days and the college's agricultural heritage, Feast on the Farm is a recent addition to raising funds for Lakeland scholarships and student-led activities.


Convocations are held on both the Lloydminster and Vermilion campuses. We have archives of past convocations as well as recognition ceremonies for our Fire & Emergency Services and Trades students.
