Connect your passion and ideas with theory and skills in our small business and entrepreneurship major.

Most of your first year courses will provide a great background in business theory and skills such as accounting. You'll also choose an elective.

In second year, you'll focus on developing important entrepreneurial skills. You'll take:
  • salesmanship
  • leadership and supervision
  • small business management
  • business law
  • 3 courses you'll choose
Whatever your goal, you’ll build knowledge and decision-making skills to be team leader. That could be in your own business, in another small business or in a corporate setting.

This diploma could also be the start of a longer education path. Stay a year or two more and earn either a Bachelor of Management or Commerce at Lakeland.
