In Alberta, formal transfer agreements are recorded in the annual Alberta Transfer Guide or Transfer Alberta.
If it's not in the Alberta Transfer Guide, you are responsible for contacting your receiving institution to see if your Lakeland courses will transfer. |

Transferring outside of Alberta & Saskatchewan | ||||||
Canada doesn't have a nation-wide transfer system.
However, Lakeland students have transferred successfully to universities in other provinces as well as the United States.
There are transfer guides in other parts of Canada.
Most universities and colleges have a transfer credit section on their website. You may also start there.
We recommend you contact the receiving institution early in the process. Early may mean before you actually start classes at Lakeland. It can be a time-consuming process. You may also need to supply course outlines as well as sample assignments and exams. The UT academic advisor can help.
