Travel by air
- If you land in Edmonton (the closest international airport), our Vermilion campus is still a minimum of 2.5 hours away by vehicle. The Lloydminster campus is another half hour.
- There is no train to either of our campus communities.
- There are small bus companies, but you'd need to find a way from the airport to their Edmonton departure points. A taxi from the airport to downtown Edmonton is around $60. There is information about travel into Edmonton from the airport on the Where Canada site as well as on the Edmonton International Airport site (you'll find bus and car service options).
- We offer a limited number of scheduled shuttles. You have to arrange your flight schedule for those dates.

KCTI Buses have daily shuttles from Edmonton to Lloydminster.

Note: This service isn't available on Wednesdays and Sundays.
While the service is about $20 per person. Taxi fare from the airport to their pick up location is approximately $60.

Rider Express offer daily shuttles from Edmonton to Lloydminster, The bus leaves from downtown Edmonton twice daily in the morning and afternoon. There is no Saturday service. |

Lakeland College Scheduled Shuttle | ||||||
Lakeland College offers 1 to 2 shuttles from the Edmonton Airport on scheduled dates. These times are firm and you will have to book your travel around them.
Please keep an eye on your email a few months before your academic start date for shuttle information.
We will not make special trips for pickups, It is your responsibility to get to campus if you can't make the scheduled shuttle times. |
