Student Computer Access
Every Lakeland College student has access to computers at the college.There are computer labs on both campuses as well as student-use computers in The Commons.
By signing on to a computer, a student agrees to Lakeland's acceptable use policy.
The following drop downs explain how to login and answer other frequently asked questions about Lakeland's computers and labs.

There are student-use computers in the Commons on both campuses. They are available whenever the Commons is open.
The Lloydminster student lounge also has computers for your use.

|I reset my password and now I forgot it, what do I do?|
|If you've forgotten your password, come to the Information Technology (IT) office on your campus weekdays between 8:15 am and 4:30 pm
|What is the cost of printing?|
|You need to start by buying a print credit card at your campus bookstore. Cards are declining blance. They start at $10 and go down based on these prices.

|If you are locked out of your account, come to the Information Technology (IT) office on your campus
You must have your student ID card, or some form of photo identification with you.
We are unable to reset passwords for over the phone.

|IT doesn't manage either your student self serve--My Lakeland--or the learning management system--Desire2Learn.
Both of these services have email help desks.
|What about wireless?|
|Check out the details for your operating system or device on our wireless access page for connecting to wireless on campus.
If you live in residence, you should check with your residence office about free wireless access. You have the option of setting up an internet account through Telus or Shaw. We recommend you get a separate account if you are an avid gamer, download a lot, or use Skype.
|I forgot to logoff my account...is that bad?|
|I saved something on a lab computer's C drive and now I can't find it?|
You won't be able to. Work saved to the computer is deleted when you log off. So, don't save to the C drive
|Where is the lost and found?|
|Items left in a computer lab are taken to the lost and found located in the SA offices or student services. .|
