Lakeland's teaching and learning commons encompasses a lot of services for both students and staff.
Please noteLakeland College is taking proactive measures in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our campuses are closed to the public. This includes the library.
However, this service is still available to students, along with most other services provided through the Commons:
- Accessibility and accommodations are still in place for students who need those services.
- The peer tutor program active. Tutoring will be virtual over Microsoft Teams
- The student success coordinator is available for students who have been working with her.
- Wellness and counsellors are available.
Giving our faculty new tools and skills is as important to us as equipping our students.
While linking Indigenous students to some of their unique needs, this is also about awareness for everyone else. Watch for events on both campuses.
If you're a Lakeland student, you are eligible to have a tutor. Check out the details on getting a tutor as well as being a tutor.
