Lakeland is celebrating a historic gift! Armin and Rita Mueller, owners of Canadian Rangeland Bison and Elk, have donated $4 million to Lakeland. Their donation will be used to purchase land and establish a bison herd at the college, which will be incorporated into the two-year animal science technology program's livestock major. Read more about Armin and Rita, watch them tell the story of their involvement in the bison industry, and watch the philanthropic announcement here!

Alumni spotlight

Joshua Langill, a real estate appraisal and assessment student, was inspired to take the program by his father-in-law, Gordon Petrunik, a Lakeland alumnus. Last semester, that inspiration came full circle when his father-in-law visited campus to speak to his class.
