The Government of Saskatchewan announced annual funding of $1.1 million to assist Lakeland College in delivering accredited training and job skills programs that meet the needs of industry.

One of eight colleges to receive funding, Lakeland basic adult education courses and vocational training, as well as post-secondary certificate, diploma and degree programs.

Lakeland will use this funding to support business, hairstyling and esthetician, heavy oil operations technician, heavy oil and power engineering and 2nd Class power engineering programming, as well as adult basic education and essential skills courses.
