Professional & academic growth

The Indigenous Student Professional Development Request supports Indigenous students in their professional and academic growth.

This initiative provides financial assistance for students to attend conferences, summits and other relevant professional development opportunities. There are many benefits to this initiative:

  • Support Indigenous students - Provide financial aid to Indigenous students for professional development opportunities.
  • Promote academic and professional growth - Encourage students to participate in conferences and summits that will benefit their educational and career goals.
  • Enhance communication engagement: Foster a sense of community and involvement by recognizing the efforts of students in various clubs and committees.
  • Accountability and reporting: Ensure that funded students report back on their experiences, thereby benefiting the wider student community.

Our Student Success Navigator can help with applications.
