Lakeland College offers a number of ways to pay.
1. Online through your bank
- Set Lakeland College up as a payee in your online banking.
- Your student ID number is your account number.
- This can be used to pay for tuition and residence fees. Can also be used by online students to register for individual courses.
2. Online through your My Lakeland account using a credit card
- There's a 2.5% convenience fee on credit card payments made through My Lakeland.
- If you have questions, check My Lakeland help on fees and payments.
3. In person
- Cheque, money order, Interac, Visa or MasterCard can be used.
4. Via mail
- Cheques or money orders should be made payable to Lakeland College.
- Do not send cash through the mail.
5. With your government student aid
- Depending on your home province, funding will automatically be sent to Lakeland College.
6. Through a sponsorship
- Sponsored students must supply a letter of commitment from the sponsoring agency at or before registration.
7. Through Flywire
- International students paying from outside of Canada use Flywire.
- Flywire allows you to pay securely from almost any country and any bank, typically in your home currency, and allows you to track your payment through email or SMS notifications.
- To begin the payment process, go to lakelandcollege.flywire.com.
You'll need to go into My Lakeland to see what you owe for tuition, residence and other fees.
If you are a new student, you'll receive a link to your My Lakeland account mid to late July.
If you're an online student in a program that requires you to self-register in courses, you'll be sent an email one week before registration opens with information on how to select, enrol and pay tuition for your courses.
Fees are assessed by semester.
Most credit programs follow our standard due dates:
- Fall 2025: due August 11, 2025
- Winter 2026: due December 1, 2025
We recommend you check the important dates section on the program page for the fees due date.
There are consequences for late or non-payment.
Consequences of late/non-payment
- For waitlisted programs, failure to pay your fees on the due date may result in your withdrawal from the program.
- For all other programs, failure to pay your fees on the due date will result in a $200 late fee charge on your account. An additional $100 fee will be charged for each week after that on any outstanding balance.
- Non-payment of fees will result in cancellation of your registration at Lakeland College.
- If you have an outstanding account, applications and registrations won't be processed.
- If you have an outstanding account, your exam results, official transcripts, diplomas/certificates, and other information and services will be withheld.
This service is only for payments within Canada.
You'll only have to set this up once:
- Log in to your online banking service.
- Go to pay bills (or your bank's equivalent).
- Add the Lakeland College as a payee. The account number is your 9 digit student number.
You also need to know:
- Make sure to leave enough time (about three days) for your bank to deliver the funds to Lakeland College by the tuition payment due date.
- Check your bank's website for information on payment processing times.
- Anyone can pay your tuition and fees on your behalf through their own bank account. You need to give them your 9 digit student number and payment amount.
- Due to privacy legislation, we cannot provide a student's account information to anyone other than the student.
- You may still pay on My Lakeland with your credit card (MasterCard or VISA).
If you are paying your fees with government student aid, funding for at least one semester of tuition and mandatory fees will be sent directly to Lakeland College.
If sufficient funds are available, Saskatchewan student aid holders will have the full year's tuition and mandatory fees sent to Lakeland College.
Sponsored students (for example Human Resources Canada, Workers' Compensation) must supply a letter of commitment from the sponsoring agency at or before registration day.
Lakeland College will work directly with your sponsor to collect your fees.
