There's no better way to explore a Lakeland College education than at Program Information Sessions, which return in March.
Prospective students who have been accepted, have applied, or are interested in a Lakeland program can take a deep dive into how they can go beyond the classroom with opportunities to learn in the real world at Lakeland.
“Program Information Sessions is an exciting chance to learn the ins and outs of a
Lakeland program, by hearing from instructors and students, touring our innovative
facilities and getting their questions answered about financial aid and student support
services,” says Katelyn Vallee, Lakeland's recruitment and enrolment supervisor.
"Info Session attendees will not only discover the many benefits of Lakeland's award-winning experiential education model, but they will also have the chance to apply for free.”
With 50-plus programs to choose from at Lakeland, Info Session participants are asked to RSVP as soon as possible. The Lloydminster campus information sessions are on March 3 for those interested in business, energy, health and wellness, and university transfer.
The Vermilion campus information sessions are on March 10 for those interested in agricultural sciences, environmental sciences, interior design technology, human services, and trades pre-employment and apprenticeship.
While Program Information Sessions are from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., each program area has a unique schedule of activities. They can be found here.
An information session for Lakeland's fire and emergency services programs will be held later this year.
