Lakeland College is pleased to announce that Jordyn Pollard, rising country star and alumna of the university transfer program, will be headlining this year's Feast on the Farm event on August 15.

Jordyn Pollard headlining Feast on the FarmPollard has been writing and performing since the age of 11. She has opened for popular Canadian musicians including Brett Kissel, Corb Lund, Jojo Mason and Gord Bamford. She's also played at country music festivals such as Big Valley Jamboree and Country Thunder at Craven. On March 31, Pollard was nominated for two Saskatchewan Country Music Awards, female artist of the year and video of the year.

“We are so excited to have Jordyn perform at Feast on the Farm,” says Dr. Alice Wainwright-Stewart, president and CEO of Lakeland College. “The live entertainment is such a highlight of the night and having a member of our alumni family share her talents with us makes me anticipate the event even more. Jordyn has benefitted first-hand from Lakeland's hands-on learning model and now she's joining us in supporting future students!”

Feast on the Farm returns to Lakeland's Research Centre this summer, presented by Cenovus Energy. It will be an evening of delicious dining and live entertainment while raising funds to support student-led and enhanced learning initiatives in Lakeland College.
