Lakeland College is pleased to welcome all 112 years’ worth of graduating classes
back to campus for Alumni Weekend, June 13-14, 2025.
“We have such an extensive, dynamic alumni family,” says Kayleigh Schmid, Lakeland’s alumni relations and career services specialist. “Alumni Weekend brings everyone together to share memories of past years at Lakeland, to reconnect with old friends, and to make new ones. It’s an opportunity to reminisce and also see what’s new at the college. We invite all Lakeland graduates to join us!”
This year’s weekend features the traditional Rose Ball on June 14, featuring live music from Lakeland alumna Eli Barsi. There will also be tours of the Emergency Training Centre, the farm and the bison herd.
Guests of honour will include members of the Class of 1975, celebrating their 50th anniversary this year.

The first class of Lakeland College, formerly known as Vermilion School of Agriculture, formed an alumni association in 1914. For more than a century, the association has served and supported thousands of students.
