You'll need the usual stationery for your classes such as binders, notebooks, pens, pencils and highlighters.
Textbooks and general supplies are available through 1913 at Lakeland (campus bookstore). You can purchase in-store or online.
You'll have access to computer stations on campus.
If you choose to bring your own laptop, a PC is strongly recommended. Macs are also supported, but some software may present challenges. iPads and Chromebooks are not recommended.
With your Lakeland College edu address, you can use Microsoft Office 365 at no cost.
Wi-Fi is available on campus.
If you are completing online courses, you must use Respondus LockDown Browser for exams and assessments.
- This software is free.
- A PC or Mac laptop is required to ensure full functionality. iPads and Chromebooks are not fully compatible and not recommended.
If you're completing assessments at home, you'll need a webcam.
