Learn about our academic and admission requirements
Along the way, talk to an enrolment specialist. Part tour guide and part advisor, your enrolment specialist is here to help you from before you apply right up to the day you register for classes.
Every applicant must provide an official transcript. For example, a provincial education department transcript with marks for recognized students.
If you don't have an official transcript, please provide the documents you do have. We'll evaluate them, and if necessary discuss options to gain admission.
For more details, check the homeschool admissions page.
Subjects and grades aren't standardized across Canada. We have created a chart that shows the current equivalent. This is only a guide and prior equivalents will still be considered. Admissions will assess the documents provided.
Check the provincial subject and grade equivalencies.
Lakeland offers academic and other supports through our Commons team. These supports include access to a learner strategist, counselling, wellness, tutoring and accessibility services. If you have a documented disability, our Accessibility Services can help connect you to accommodations, resources, and services you need to achieve your goals.
