Celebrating platoon graduations at ETC

firefighter student rings bellEvery firefighter platoon has a special graduation ceremony.

Like all grad ceremonies there are traditions. For example, each firefighter rings a bell and declares themselves ready for service or ready for assignment. If they are already in a fire service, they say ready for assignment. If they don't yet have a place in a service, they say ready for service.

Each platoon also decorates a helmet and hangs that along with a class photo in the main ETC hallway.

Below you'll find links to the current year's ceremonies. You can also check out our fireifghter platoon grad archives for previous years. You'll find links to ceremony videos as well as Flickr photo albums. Those photos are free to download.
