Share your Lakeland experience as a student ambassador!

You’ll represent Lakeland in a variety of ways that show why Lakeland is a great place to be. Utilize your personal experience as a current Lakeland College student to connect with future students and showcase what the college has to offer. Learn more and find the application below!

As a Lakeland Student Ambassador, you will:

  • share your unique student experience with others in person and on social media.
  • conduct campus tours and assist visitors on campus.
  • represent Lakeland at various events and activities, including Program Info Sessions and Open House.
  • support our donor relation team by calling and thanking donors.

To become a Lakeland Student Ambassador, you must:

  • be currently enrolled at Lakeland College.
  • attend all scheduled training and mandatory activities.
  • be open-minded, committed, responsible and self-aware.
  • be able to attend events and support recruitment activities.
  • have strong interpersonal skills and willingness to work in a team setting.
  • enjoy meeting and talking with people.
  • be eager and excited to promote Lakeland to the public.

Gain skills and confidence in the following areas:

  • leadership skills
  • public speaking
  • customer service
  • making phone calls
  • planning and completing projects/tasks
  • working in a team environment 

You will also benefit from:

Ambassadors primarily assist the recruitment and enrolment team with on-campus activities such as Open House, Program Info Sessions, and campus tours. Duties may include providing campus tours, making phone calls for donor relations, and representing Lakeland College at various events.
