Steel-toed boots are a must if you have any labs on the college farm.

Each agricultural science program has slightly different requirements, so check your program for details.

Agribusiness doesn't have any special supplies beyond the usual binders, notepaper and other stationery supplies.

If you're taking general agriculture, check the crops list or animal science list for the types of supplies you'll need.

Most program books lists are available on orientation/registration day or during the first week.

As well, the faculty recommends you have your own colour printer.

See all the details for each program by choosing it below.

The required supply list for Agricultural Sustainability has been split into two categories: things to bring with you and things to buy when you get to campus.

If you have questions regarding supplies, clothing or books please contact either:

Amy Stanley, program head

Allan MacMillan, academic advisor

  • steel-toed hiking boots (preferred for drier weather conditions)
  • high-top winter boots with warm felt liner (winter rated to -40 is recommended)

Supplies

  • insect repellent
  • sunscreen

Outdoor field botany labs require

  • small garden pruning shears
  • plant press (available for loan from Environmental Sciences when you arrive)
