Lakeland Legends Disc Golf Course
Vermilion Campus
Disc golf has arrived at Lakeland College!
The Lakeland Legends disc golf course, established in 2025, is open and ready to play. The 9 hole course plays along a walking trail, winds through beautiful trees and ends near the arboretum. This free-to-play course is available to Lakeland students and staff as well as the public, offering a fun challenge for players of all ages and skill levels.
While the baskets are in and waiting to be birdied, finishing touches, such as signage and permanent tee pads, are in the works.
Why is it called the Lakeland Legends?
Each hole is named after a legendary person or group in Lakeland College's history, both in Vermilion and Lloydminster. Learn more about each of the Lakeland Legends below:

How do I play?
You can find course information, maps and create scorecards using the free UDisc app. No tee times or course fees are required.
Students can rent discs from the rec centre using their student ID. Other players will need to bring their own discs.
Once you have your discs, you're ready to play! The goal is simple — complete each hole in the fewest number of throws, starting from the tee area and ending with the disc resting in the basket.
