The centrepiece of the Vermilion Campus

Alumni Hall is rich with history and brimming with activity. From its storied beginnings to its central role today, this iconic building reflects the spirit and resilience of our Lakeland community.

  • 1913: Alumni Hall’s story begins when the Vermilion School of Agriculture opened on November 17, 1913.
  • 1928: Alumni Hall opened and was the dedicated dormitory building.
  • 1985: Tragedy struck as Alumni Hall was destroyed by fire. It was rebuilt, with its front façade designed to echo the original structure.
