For more than decade Lakeland College has provided Lloydminster public and separate high school students opportunities to take college courses.

Now Lakeland is part of a Saskatchewan-wide dual credit program.

Our goal is to provide dual credit options to more school divisions. If you interested taking a dual credit course, or bringing it to you school, please fill in our dual credit interest form.

In the meantime, here's what you should know:
  • A memorandum of understanding is required between Lakeland College and your school division. Currently Lakeland has agreements with the Lloydminster Public School Division and the Lloydminster Catholic Public School Division.
  • There are fees for taking these courses.
  • Application forms will be available through the student's school.
  • Courses would be available in January as there's a grade 12 English requirement for some courses.

Lakeland has been approved to provide these dual credit courses:

  • LA 180 Business Law
  • MK 170 Marketing Principles
  • PSYCO 104 Basic Psychological Processes
  • SOC 100 Introductory Sociology
Plans are to add additional business and university transfer courses.

If you're interested in dual credit, please fill out our dual credit interest form. For more information, you may also email dualcredit@lakelandcollege.ca.
